In the news: Long Covid: Teachers, healthcare workers most vulnerable occupations, report finds

University of Otago Associate Professor Amanda Kvalsvig was interviewed on RNZ's Morning Report on 26 March following the publication of the Briefing Long Covid in Aotearoa NZ: Risk assessment and preventive action urgently needed. The Briefing presented findings from a review of Long Covid to guide NZ’s response to this public health threat. 

Co author, Professor Michael Baker, told RNZ's First Up, prevention is much better than having to respond to an increasing number of people with long-term disability from this infection.
